InsideOut Trip to Swaziland
July 16 - July 26, 2010

North Point Community Church InsideOut is joining Heart for Africa in Swaziland from July 16 - July 26.  Here you will find all of the information regarding this service trip.

This trip will depart from Atlanta on July 16 and return to Atlanta on July 26.  During the 11-day mission trip, the InsideOut team will join other volunteers from across America in Swaziland, Africa as we work with orphans and vulnerable children living throughout the small country. 

Swaziland is a country of just under one million people and the highest HIV/AIDS rate in the world at 42.6%. Some estimate that there are as many as 200,000 orphaned children in Swaziland.

But there is hope. There is God. A God that loves the children of Swaziland as much as He loves the children in North America. We believe that hope for the children of Swaziland lies with the Christian church in Swaziland. That is why Heart for Africa is working to engage the North American Christian church with the Swaziland church. We believe that together, Christians from America and Swaziland can join together to provide hope for the children.

This trip is the key service opportunity for the Litsemba (Hope in siSwati) event on July 23, 2010. During this trip, you will serve at a local church in Swaziland. Each team of 10-20 volunteers will facilitate a Vacation Bible School (VBS) program for the orphaned children in the area around the church. Additionally, you will work on a community garden that will be planted at the church to help ensure that the orphaned children are able to eat each day.

To apply for this trip with InsideOut, simply complete the application form below.  The InsideOut team will review all applications and notify you when you are accepted.  Your deposit of $250 and additional registration information will be required after the first team meeting.
