Leigh Ann joined Heart for Africa as the Director of Child Sponsorship in August of 2007. Leigh Ann feels incredibly blessed to serve as part of the organization. She is a graduate of the University of Georgia and grew up in Gainesville, Georgia. Her first 15 years after college were spent in corporate America as a tax accountant and CPA for Deloitte & Touche, Coca-Cola, and Cox Enterprises.

While on her first trip to Africa with her husband in 2004, Leigh Ann had a desire ignited in her heart and experienced God in such a real way while she was there. Her heart was forever changed. Joining the Heart for Africa team provides a precious way to serve as part of the body of Christ.

Leigh Ann and her awesome husband Rick are the proud parents to three children - Lawson, Parker and Chase. In July of 2007 they took their first trip as a whole family to Swaziland with Heart for Africa, and her children had the time of their lives. Leigh Ann is thankful for the chance to serve others, and thrilled to help provide opportunities for sponsors to connect with children in need in Africa. It is a win, win situation for both parties and each is blessed beyond belief. Leigh Ann and family live in Alpharetta, Georgia.
