Orphans

Fact: Every 14 seconds a child is orphaned by AIDS. Fifteen million orphans today.

Heart for Africa is working with local children’s homes in Swaziland and Kenya through service trips and child sponsorship programs.

There are 15 million orphans in sub-Saharan Africa today due to AIDS. Only a few chosen ones are fortunate enough to be rescued and brought into Children's Homes where they are given food, shelter, clothing and an education. While each of these necessities seem to be continually out of reach for the children of Africa, with your help, these needs can be met in their lives.

Volunteer Opportunities
Register today to volunteer with Heart for Africa at a home. During this service opportunity, you will work with the leaders of these homes as they serve the needs of the children in their home and the children in the surrounding communities.

Child Sponsorship
Make a lasting change in a child’s life currently living in a Children's Homes that Heart for Africa has carefully screened and chosen to come along side. We currently channel support funds to all the children at El Shaddai Children's Home in Swaziland. Your donation of $35 per month to the children’s home helps ensure the daily needs and educational development of your chosen child and the others in the home are provided for. You will be moved to tears when you see what the Lord is doing in their lives. No longer are they abandoned, abused, and forgotten; instead they are now clothed, fed, loved, cared for, and receiving an education.
