Heart for Africa has trips planned throughout the summer of 2010. You will find details of each trip in the left navigation of this webpage. Some of the highlights include our Litsemba trip to Swaziland and our HOW? Jewelry trip to Kenya.

The Litsemba (hope in siSwati) trip to Swaziland is from July 15 - July 25. During this trip, the team will spend time working with orphans and vulnerable children at local churches throughout the country. Near the end of the trip, Heart for Africa and the Somholo Festival will host Celebrate Litsemba!, an event that will bring together 15,000 orphans and vulnerable children at the national stadium for a day of worship and music.

The HOW? Jewelry trip to Kenya is a special opportuntity to work with the women that live around Tumaini Children's Home. These women are currently making all of the HOW? Jewelry that is being sold in the US. We will spend time teaching the women new trades and showing them love. The volunteers will also spend time working at Tumaini Children's Home, one of our partner homes in Kenya.
