El Roi Baby Home

In Eswatini, it is estimated that more than half of the total population are orphaned and vulnerable children. Young girls become pregnant as they seek help from men to get food for their younger siblings, resulting in early teenage pregnancy and many abandoned babies.

Heart for Africa is called to help those young girls and the babies who are found in pit latrines or on the side of the road to die. The El Roi Baby Home provides a loving, caring home for babies who have been abandoned by mothers who could not care for them because of their own poverty. The baby home opened on February 1st, 2012.
