Project Canaan Program Director

My heart was stirred for the orphans of Eswatini during a month long stay with Heart for Africa in 2015. I remember hearing about how many of the children were abandoned, neglected, and abused. My heart broke for them. I remember seeing happy children full of life, unaware of the difficult beginning they experienced. I saw firsthand how the impact of loving unconditionally, giving freely of time, and recognizing each child’s individuality had altered the course of these children’s lives forever. It is through the lives of these children that a new generation will create real and lasting change for their country.

I feel called by God to invest in each of the little souls entrusted to Heart for Africa. I want my life to be used by God in any way He desires. I want my life to show others the love and freedom that Christ has given me. I want to live out Isaiah 6:8 to the fullest: ‘Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?” And I said, “Here am I. Send me!”

I hope that as I begin this chapter of my life that you prayerful consider partnering with me through:

Daily Prayer- Please pray that I would be open and receptive to the leading of the Holy Spirit. Pray that I would be a Godly example and point others to Christ. Pray for the children whom I will mentor, disciple, lead and love.
